  • 1st branch off left gastric: esophageal

  • lesser curvature stomach: left and right gastric (proper hepatic)
  • greater curvature: left/right gastroepiploic
  • fundus/cardia of stomach: short gastric from splenic

SMA

  • on top of duodenum
  • archades on right side

  • lose weight

IMA

Dual Blood

  • superior and inferior pancreaticoduodenal supply to stomach

Ischemia

  • ischemia of colon less severe than small intestine
  • mesenteric: small intestine. Colitis: colon

Acute

  • thrombosis: like a heart attack at intestines. More chronic

  • ischemia: not affect small intestine

  • mild pain or no pain to exam but pt in lots of pain
