  • fluid reach mouth: lower Na/Cl, higher K/HCO3 compared to plasma

  • higher flow rate, more metabolism in glandular cells, more CO2, more bicarb

  • gastrin, secretin, CCK no effect
  • parasympathetic activated, M1, M3

Stones, inflammation

  • risks: anything decrease flow

  • double coverage

Pleomorphic

  • left, nuclei tightly packed, glandular
  • right, stromal

Warthin's

Muco

  • child with lymphoma with radiation

  • mucous cells and epidermal cells (squamous)
  • no classic histology
