- in heart attack: give heparain/warfarin/anti-platelets
- in stroke: doesn't work
Thrombolysis
- very significant risk of bleeding, must run through CI
- high bp raises risk of bleeding
Post Stroke
- someone with stroke automatically gets warfarin if has afib
