Outpatient
for outpatient treatment, it depends on if patient has comorbidity or not.
- no comorbidity and young:
- amoxicillin: 1 g TID
- doxycycline: 100 BID
- azithromycin: 500, then 250 daily
- comorbidity or old:
- augmentin 800 BID and macrolide/doxycycline.
- fluoroquinolone as alternative: levofloxacin 750 mg daily or moxi at 400 daily
Treatment generally should be around 5 days 1
