Eradication therapy with 2 weeks IV ceftazidime/tobramycin followed by nebulized tobramycin for 3 months for new pseudomonas infections.¹²

Essentially give 2 weeks of PO or IV abx first, then followed by inhaled tobramycin on/off until eradication at follow up.

In the newest CHEST 2026 guideline, no recommendation was given if eradication therapy should be done for pseudomonas. ³
