LDCT order at Wake

If you have CT Lung Screening Annual/Baseline or CT LDCT Lung Screening Follow Up in your favorites, please remove.

Wake orders are as follows (best search is by LDCT may need to select ‘Broaden My Search’): 

A patient can have 1 CT Lung Screen Annual per 1year/1day so it is ok to go back to CT LS Annual even if they have a lung nodule after 1year/1day. 

  • IMG 110285 - CT Lung Screening LDCT Baseline – CPT 71271 – 1st CT Lung Screening 
  • IMG 110169 - CT LDCT Lung Screening Annual – CPT 71271 – subsequent years CT Lung Screening 

Diagnosis codes – F17.210 – cigarette smoker; Z87.891 – former cigarette smoker 

This order is for anything under that 1 year/1day: 

  • IMG 110170 - CT LDCT Lung Screening <1 yr Follow Up – CPT 71250 (Diagnostic Code) 
  • Diagnosis codes – R91.1 – Pulmonary nodule; R91.8 – multiple nodules
