- Free T4 levels 1 to 1.5 times ULN: 5 to 10 mg once daily.
- Free T4 levels >1.5 to 2 times ULN (or iodine-induced thyrotoxicosis): 10 to 20 mg once daily.
- Free T4 levels >2 times ULN: 20 to 40 mg/day.
- To achieve euthyroidism more quickly and reduce GI-related adverse effects, may give in 2 to 3 divided doses (especially with doses >30 mg/day).1
