Exclusion criteria:

Immunosuppression

  • azathioprine older version but causes less GI SE
  • avoid clarithromycin for H pylori. Use modified regimen
  • bone marrow more prominant with imuran
  • can look like PCP, can be very dramatic

Ppx

  • donor positive, recipient neg: 6 months valcyte, otherwise 3 months

post transplant

  • rule out everything else before rejection

Rejection

  • can diagnose rejection without biopsy
