epoprostenol does not cause hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction

Epoprostenol (Flolan) is inhaled pulmonary vasodilator. As opposed to systemic pulmonary vasodilator (clevidipine can cause hypoxemia via pulmonary shunting), It does not cause pulmonary vasoconstriction because the inhaled medication is only delivered to ventilated lungs and not all lungs.
